Command Mission
     After Nuclear Field "A" School, the students progress into Nuclear Power School which, in a classroom setting, provides the basic knowledge necessary to understand the theory and operation of naval nuclear propulsion plants. The Nuclear Power School curriculum introduces thermodynamics, reactor principles, radiological fundamentals, and other specialized subjects. Officer personnel also begin training at Nuclear Power School in a separate curriculum which parallels the enlisted course, but which is appropriately designed for college graduates with technical backgrounds.

     Nuclear Power School, the hardest phase of the three. With courses in heat transfer/fluid flow, physics, chemistry/materials/radiological fundamentals, mechanical theory, electrical theory, and reactor principles added to the fact that this is the Navy's only school with written tests (that means no multiple choice, idiot), it's no wonder why they say that "NNPTC is a place better to be from than to be at". Yes, Nuclear Power School... believe the hype.

• March 29, 2002: EM3 WANG, USN successfully completes the Nuclear Power Course. Huh!
• March 27, 2002: EM3 WANG, USN not only passes AC Boards, but also impresses the Board with his "animated and enthusiastic" style.
• March 26, 2002: EM3 WANG, USN fails COMP. Boo hoo. Woe is me.
• March 25, 2002: EM3 WANG, USN turns 21!
• March 22, 2002: Special screening of Wang Fu Ren.
• February 2, 2002: I had the BEST meal ever at Sushi Hiro. From start to finish, it was a feast to remember. Fried Chicken and Fried Tofu for starters. Then on to the main dish... Salmon Tempura with udon noodle and sticky rice. Mmm-mmm-mmm. This went down good with Cranberry Juice. And chew on this... for dessert, Red Bean Ice Cream and a Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream.

• January 3, 2002: William Wang returns to Power School.
• December 21, 2001: Christmas leave. "Tis the season to be jorry, FA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA RA!"
• October 3, 2001: William Wang begins Power School.
