Meet Max. I named him after Maximillan Jenius, an ace pilot in the Macross saga. Also, if you look at the full name of the car (1989 MazdA rX-7 Turbo), you get Max! How you like that?
This is the first car I ever owned. I bought it from a private seller at AutoTrader.com for 4000 with only 79.6K miles on it. I shipped it from Wisconsin to South Carolina for 500, the control unit replaced for 250, the front and rear wheel bearings repacked for 320 and a full detail for 130. I was so proud of my car... until 5-11.
1989 Mazda RX-7 Turbo II (FC3S GTX)

Front-engine, rear-wheel drive, 5-speed manual, 2-door coupe, 1.3-liter fuel injected twin rotor turbo engine producing 200 hp @ 6500 rpm and 196 lb.-ft. @ 3500 rpm and it's stock! Best of all, the epitome of 80's sports cars; retractable headlights. Aww yeeeah! Not to mention the following:
